| Dear Fellow Humans,
Well, hi! Mom visited this whole weekend - it was wonderful to get to see her and do a bunch of fun stuff together, and have a lot of good conversation.
To all those who should be e-mailed: Sorry! I must ignore the siren call of writing you. Homework Due Mountain looms on the horizon, and the current of time is picking up speed - maybe tomorrow.
Say, life is kind of like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book - you may choose what you do, but you sure don't choose explicit outcomes all the time. Good thing we have a guide. God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Thomas

| Dear Students of Life, Love, and Other Mysteries,
Prayers would be much appreciated - first midterm tomorrow! It's in Torts, and although it doesn't count (boy, it's scary for all grades to be based on finals), it's still a really big deal.
If you'd like to check out what a blast law school is, check out the practice problem Professor Cochran gave us - it's modeled after an opera! Just pick Cochran for the Professor and Torts for the subject, then the 1991 Fall Midterm. I think you'll like it.
Well, past time for bed! Property homework, and then to the land of physical non-liability. God bless you all.
Sincerely,
Thomas
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.

| Dear Friends,
Brilliant new Idea!!!!!
Maybe I should tend to my own knittin'.

| Dear Sportsfans,
Well, I wrote a long, haughty , and ultimately hypocritical post about how football is a poor substitute reality for escapists and how there are a lot better worlds to escape to, like Jane Austen's, Charles Dickens', and, of course, J.R.R. Tolkein's, but after reviewing it and reflecting on Corrie's wise words, I'm going to take it down.
Suffice it to say that *for me* football is empty calories and not good stewardship of my time.
New policy to follow in new post.
Sincerely,
Thomas

| // Actually, I meant this to be a private post; sorry. it just seemed too bizarrely cool to pass up.
We're going to make this a place Erroyl Flynn would be jealous of.
